I heard this and loved it – I hope you will too.

A Chinese woman carried two large pots from the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a small crack.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to her home, the cracked pot arrived only half  full.

For two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream.

‘I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.’

The old woman smiled, ‘Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot’s side?’

‘That’s because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them.’

‘For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.’

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it’s the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You’ve just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.

SO, to all of my crackpot friends, have a great day,  smell the flowers on your side of the path and remember how our flaws can make us unique and valuable!

I know longer try to change outer things. They are simply a reflection.
I change my inner perception and the outer reveals the beauty so long obscured by my own attitude.

I concentrate on my inner vision and find my outer view transformed.

I find myself attuned to the grandeur of life and in unison with the perfect order of the universe.

Take time through this season to feel  inner peace.

Close your eyes if just for a few minutes and be quiet. No thoughts just stillness.

And breathe.

Ahhhhhhhh, feels good, doesn’t it!

Merry Christmas!!!

The first requirement in cultivating inner stillness is to

Live iDSC_0142n the present.

Let go of worries and slow down.

The Homeopathic remedy Aconitum nappellus 30c, 2 pellets dissolved preferably under the tongue will relieve acute anxiety almost immediately and will allow you to

approach circumstances with a calm and relaxed frame of mind.

Next, try to block out distractions and focus on the here and now.

Anxiety about the past and future is destructive and futile.

Worrying about what may or may not happen will only create stress and leave you feeling drained.

Cultivating your inner stillness will enable you to act with more objectivity and wisdom by heightening your awareness of your surroundings.

Greater clarity of mind will help you gain a more balanced and unprejudiced view of matters.

Try not to dwell on where things are going,  live in the moment instead.

By grounding yourself in the present, you can avoid disappointments brought on by illusions, and tackle matters as they arise.

Stillness and tranquility will empower you to feel more confident and self-reliant, and enable you to meet life with a positive attitude.

Homeopathic remedies work quickly to relieve distress, are natural and non-toxic, are safe for all ages and will not interfere with pharmaceutical drugs.

Homeopathic remedies may be purchased using the sidebar located on this site, at Health Food stores and many pharmacies.

While living in France for a year my mentor would teach me French poetry to facilitate my learning the language.

Here is a French poem she taught me translated into English.

I said to the man standing in the doorway of the new time “Give me a light that I may advance into the unknown without fear”.

And the man responded, “Go forward, even though the way is obscured and place your hand in the hand of your God, and that will be better than any other light and you will walk more surely than you would on the most well known road”.

When I was younger I memorized ‘The Desiderata’ because after reading it,

it was so calming that I always wanted to have its soothing influence.

May its words have a beneficial effect for you also.

“Go placidly amidst the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant, they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others you may become vain and bitter for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble it is a real possession to the changing fortune of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs for the world is full of trickery, but let this not blind you to what virtue there is,

many persons strive for higher ideals and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself, especially do not feign affection, neither be cynical about love, for in the face of aridity and disenchantment, it is perennial as the grass.

Take kindly to counsel of years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.

But do not stress yourself with imaginings, many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here,

and whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt, the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him to be and whatever your labors and aspirations in this noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul.

With all of its sham drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.

Be careful strive to be happy.”

Often spring brings a time when we feel an urging to step up our game and get productive.

How productivity really works is the key to manifesting quickly our desires.

As in the picture above, not trying is important.

Trying creates urgency which blocks the natural flow of new thought.

Your desires for new are the catalyst.

Envision the new.

Allow this vision freedom to dance around in your mind.

Be playful with what you see.

Have confidence, smile, relax.

Manifesting comes quick when we are alert and relaxed.

The more you hold your vision for the new in your mind with patience, clarity and confidence the more information on how to bring it into being will come to you.

This is the real fun of creating. Being, and all you need comes to you.

We hold light in every moment. This energy to see clearly and know our way is always available.

Confusion is a taught state of mind. Clarity is your birthright.

Quiet your self. Let all opinions and suggestions fade away.

In this quiet is your own personal knowing. This is the light that is available to you in every moment and in every day.

What a wonderful birthright!

Today is April 14. It is raining outside and not too cold.

Spring is promised and right around the corner. The green of our planet is appearing everywhere.

How fun it is to observe change so needed occurring right before our eyes.

Sometimes when we think life is stuck and repeating the same information to us every day, its nice to glance out the window and be reminded that change is a part of the planet we live on.

Spring is here. Change is occurring.

Take a moment and feel this energy of change . It is a part of your life too. Blessing you with newness.

5. Rhus Tox 30c, for red itchy rashes or for muscle sprains and strains

6. Cantharis 30c, for any burning symptoms whether they be internal or external

one dose = 2 pellets

The first dose of 2 pellets dissolved preferably under the tongue should begin ease immediately.

The second dose may be taken 10 minutes after the first dose.

If after 10 minutes any symptoms still remain take a 3rd dose.

Your aim is always, ease in half an hour.

Repeat only as symptoms return.

As you heal the symptoms will reoccur at greater intervals

with less intensity

and one or two doses might be all that is needed to diminish symptoms.

These 6 Homeopathic remedies plus:

Arnica gel or cream to be rubbed on bruised unbroken skin

and

Calendula gel or cream to be used on open wounds

will handle most any emergency situation quickly and efficiently.
