At the age of 24, after returning from a trip to Mexico, I became paralyzed from the neck down. Doctors could only explain what happened to me as some type of virus I contracted from my trip. I was prescribed massive doses of prednisone, because “it will make me better.” I listened and trusted my doctors as I had throughout my life. My muscles were functional but so weak. I also had pain all over my body to the point where no one could touch my skin. I got worse and was sent from specialist to specialist, with no answers. This went on for a few months. I laid in bed and cried each evening, in horrible pain.

My parents had  worked with a nurse practitioner who specialized in natural medicine and suggested that I see her. I was skeptical, but went. She prescribed various vitamins and shark cartilage. Over the next year, I slowly regained strength and was functional. I thought fantastic! I could function in my job if I rested each night and on the weekends. My quality of life had improved and I felt fortunate.

A year after taking the vitamins, the excruciating pain came back. I once again was confined to my bed and even there I writhed in pain. Doctors again were perplexed.

Then I got her phone number…..from my aunt’s hairdresser. It was hard for me to trust another person in the medical field, but I was also at the point where I could not continue living in such horrible pain.

I remember my first visit to Dr. Dewan well. At that point, I was shuffling my feet because the vibrations from walking were excruciating. My back had a knot in it between my shoulder blades that caused me to hunch over with pain. I remember walking up the steps to her office, thinking, “I won’t make it.” I did and the next hour dramatically changed my life.

My name is J. Taylor age 64. I am a client of Dr. DeWan’s for a number of years.

I would wake 2 or 3 am with heartburn, acid reflux and restless legs. I would drink half a bottle of anti-acid to calm it down. Doing this for months, I knew I would have other issues to deal with.

I also would get migraine headaches which were bad on waking and would cause thumping in my head if I would lean over. These headaches would have me bedridden all day and face pain would be present the whole time.

I was also told I had osteoporosis, and should start treatment soon, but after reading about the side effects on other organs, I decided not to do the treatment.

A friend was talking about results her young husband who was having health problems, she talked about Dr. DeWan and her remedies and how she helped him.

My name is Mary Balkiewicz and this is my testimony.

As a child my grandmother always treated my colds, cuts and bruises with herbs from her garden. Little did I know she was grooming me with natural remedies which always did the job.

I married had three great children and a husband that I adored.

He developed emphysema and I took care of him until he passed away. Watching him struggling and slowly slipping away took a toll on me emotionally and physically.

I suffered a shock to my system and a year later I developed breast cancer. I was put on medication with side effects which included muscle aches, pains and stiffness.

I was always an energetic, healthy person, an exercise enthusiast, I walked five miles almost every day.

I could no longer do this. If I sat for even fifteen minutes I became so stiff from my hips down. I actually felt creaky.

My friend who is a patient of Dr. DeWan suggested I go see her. I did and Dr. DeWan talked to me at some length until she came to the root of the problem.

Dr. DeWan gave me a dry dose of the Homeopathic remedy Nat Mur and pellets to put in bottled water and taken every three hours.

The next day I felt my old self again. I could not believe how quick I got relief. I felt I could have walked five miles, and so I did!

This same remedy helped me emotionally also.

I was in a wedding party for my niece and purchased a new pair of shoes. I danced a lot and developed a blister on the bottom of my foot, but did not realize it. My car was parked at my brothers house. He stayed overnight at the wedding and I came home.

I got up in the morning and decided it was a nice fall morning and decided to walk to my car. The last 3/4 of a mile was a steep climb and very tough.

I made it to my car and as I started to drive home I could feel my body hurting.

I work as a strength trainer and felt there is no way I am going to be able to function but I immediately took my Nat Mur remedy and continued to take it every three hours and guess what,

I was back in business. I mean the next day I went to work. My blister healed in a few days. I felt on top of the world.

My name is Johnna Kubick of Pottsville, PA and I am a patient of Dr. DeWan.

I sought out treatment for lower back pain that plagued me for 2 years after a minor car accident. This pain kept me from doing one of the things I enjoyed most, running.

I was treated by various physicians, including a chiropractor for the time leading up to my treatment with Dr. DeWan. I had numerous tests done, MRI, CAT SCAN, etc, all which the physicians told me there was nothing wrong, I would need to just work through the pain.

I went to see Dr. DeWan September of 2008. She asked me a lot of questions about various symptoms I was having, some not related to my biggest concern, my lower back pain. Dr. DeWan sent me on my way with a remedy and said I should see results very shortly.

My name is Diane Keim of Shenandoah, Pa.

I am a patient of Dr Dewan. I am 54 years old and have gone through menopause, which left me with quite a few problems.

Over the years, I have been to gynecologists, breast specialists, plastic surgeons for advice and no one could help me.

I am sure many women have had the problems I have but did not know where to seek help. I knew something was wrong with my body because you sort of know your body and how you feel and you just have a gut feeling when something is not right.

Well, I had been seeking help from doctors for over 2 years and they would just laugh, shrug their shoulders and blame it all on hormones.

My grandmother and mother both had breast cancer so I was sort of concerned.

I had been plagued with swelling.

My breasts would swell and become so heavy to the point that I was so uncomfortable that I could not function, then my stomach would swell, and my legs would become so heavy that they would feel like lead.

I had problems with eliminating my water and had been taking Metamucil to try and regulate my bowels and nothing would help.

I could not sleep at night and had to constantly keep moving. I also had leg and toe cramps.

High anxiety was a constant part of my life.

When I went to Dr. DeWan, I was about ready to cash my chips in. I was getting depressed because no one would listen or try and help me.

My name is Donald Wright, and I am a client of Dr. DeWan’s. I have had a disease called sarcoidosis for thirteen months now.

Sarcoidosis is a lung disease, but accompanying the lung disease, it lowers the effectiveness of the immune system.

My disease is controlled by steroids, but there is no cure according to conventional doctors.

My previous doctors wanted to put me on chemotherapy to suppress the disease. However, the side effect is that I would have a high risk of acquiring cancer because of the chemo.

Dr. DeWan has been caring for me since January of 2009 until the present.

Within a few days of seeing her I started to feel better. I felt so much better that in fact, I felt ten years younger, and I am fifty-two years old.

What Dr. DeWan’s treatment entails, is she talks to you and asks what your symptoms are. Then, based off of what you tell her, regardless of the medicinal name for the disease, she prescribes you a remedy of natural substances to combat your symptoms.

Dr. DeWan has said that sleep is very important because at night, sleep reconstructs your body.

For years, I had not slept more than 1.5 hours before having to wake up and use the bathroom. This process would continue all night long.

However, now I sleep anywhere from four to seven hours per night. It varies, but it is a drastic improvement from what I have been used to for years. Along with the increased amounts of sleep I have more energy and feel younger. Even people at work have noticed that I look better. They say that I do not have that “sick look” anymore.

Dr.DeWan’s process for reducing the symptoms is very simple

She gives me natural remedies that cause no pain, no discomfort, and no taste.

I take two kinds of remedies dissolved in water and take one sip of the water every two hours during the day.

If I need what is called a “Dry Dose,” I put the pellet under my tongue and let it dissolve.

The symptoms it can alleviate range from back pain, kidney pain, etc.

After putting the pellet under my tongue the discomfort or pain is generally gone in approximately thirty to forty minutes.
